A very fine early 20th Century oil on canvas painting depicting a figural pastoral scene featuring a farmer with his horses and plough within an exquisitely detailed countryside landscape with haystacks, luscious trees and a stunning skyline. Signed in the lower right corner and set within a finely hand carved, moulded and fluted giltwood frame with gorgeous richly scrolling foliate and acanthus leaf motif detail.
