A very rare pair of 19th Century mahogany side or console tables in the manner of Adams, finely hand carved with beautifully rich patination, grain and of exceptional quality. The well figured, moulded tops of demi-lune form with reeded border trim is raised over a simple panelled, deep single drawer frieze with exquisite Neoclassical decorative detail comprising of centred urn flanked with richly scrolling foliate, applied flowerhead paterae and fluted detail, beautifully hand carved in low relief. Supported on elegantly tapering and panelled square leg with further flowerhead and trailing bell husk motif detail, terminating on spade foot.
